Ever since "Supernatural" won the TV Guide Cover contest, we have known that there was a fourth wall episode in the works.
Now, for those of you that don't know what I mean by fourth wall, prepare to be dazzled.
If you are a fan of "Supernatural" and have watched it before, then you should know this. So this is for the newbies. A fourth wall episode is a story that basically brings the fandom into the story somehow. There have been several fourth wall episodes in the series before, so this is nothing new. But the lengths that this episode will go will far out do "Monster at the End of the Book" and "The Real Ghostbusters", which both deal with author Chuck of the "Supernatural" books that basically chronicle the whole hunting life of Dean and Sam. Down to the letter.
Then of course, who can forget the genius of dragging them to the first "Supernatural" convention where they have to save all their biggest fans from real life pissed off spirits.
This episode however, may just be the greatest of them all.
Dean and Sam will be transported to an alternate universe where they are Jensen and Jared, stars of a popular television show, "Supernatural".
Thanks to AskAusiello, we have been given another little tidbit of spoilers. Which is really no surprise.
Genevieve Cortese will be making her comeback to the series, who previously starred as Ruby 2.0 in season four, as the alternate universe Jared's wife. Who, in case you don't know, is Jared Padalecki's real wife.
Trust me, Tumblr is going crazy over this fantastic news, and is now calling and wishing for Jensen Ackles real life wife, Danneel Harris, a star of "One Tree Hill", to play the alternate universe wife of Jensen.
Oh, how I love this show.
