Comic-Con predictions

With Comic-Con a short three months away, the team gathered at Inscaped HQ to come up with a few predictions on what fans can expect at the big show.


Stephanie's predictions:

• DC will announce its full slate of movies including a few casting announcements
• Warner Bros. will go "Harry Potter" crazy, giving "The Deathly Hallows" a huge push
• "Green Lantern" footage will be premiered
• Trailer premieres for "Paranormal Activity 2," "The Green Hornet" and "Red Dawn."
• Disney will have a huge "Tron: Legacy" presence, especially on the exhibit hall floor
• Disney will also heavily promote "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"
• Joss Whedon will preview the anticipated and highly secretive "Cabin in the Woods" and will also maybe talk about his plans for "The Avengers"
• "Castle" will make its Comic-Con debut with a first time panel
• "White Collar" and "In Plain Sight" could also make first time appearances

Candace's predictions:

• 3D Panels in Hall H (considering how well it went last year!)
• Season 2 preview of "The Vampire Diaries"
• "A Game of Thrones Panel" and footage
• "Green Hornet" panel, maybe some footage
• "Tron: Legacy" panel, new footage
• "Conan" panel and footage "The Hobbit" announcements
• Summit Entertainment's TV series "Push"
• Zach Snyder's next Titanic
• "Avengers" announcements

Tim's predictions:

• Major DC Comics movie announcement
• "Scott Pilgrim" stuff
• "Resident Evil Afterlife"
• Next big Marvel/DC event books
• "Thor" footage
• "Star Trek" sequel
• "Spider-Man" reboot casting
• Disney/Marvel announcement(s)
• "Captain America" (at least a photo of costume)
• "Batman" sequel announcement
