There was little suspense at the BAFTA Awards as "The King's Speech" was crowned best film. It also took home awards for leading actor, supporting actor and actress, outstanding British film, original screenplay and original music.Natalie Portman won for leading actress and "The Social Network" won for best director, adapted screenplay and editing.
"Inception" was recognized for visual effects, sound and production design, while one of its stars Tom Hardy, won the rising star award, which is voted on by the public.
With two weeks left before the Oscars, "The King's Speech" is picking up steam as the best picture favorite.
